BLM Literature

On June 11th, 2020, I attended a march organized by a member of the Highlands Community, Dr. Adriana Bohm. Adriana delivered an inspiring, passionate speech about why we were gathered around the Delaware Art Museum that day. She recounted recent, heartbreaking moments of racial injustice in our country alongside moments of resilience and strength. Her speech is a must-read for Delaware residents who are determined to make a change.

On July 15th, 2020, this thought piece was written by Ashleigh Brady to invite the District 4 community to learn about a facet of the Black experience. Namely, respectability politics.
